Open the elastic and make a loop, step into it and tighten the elastic around your waist with the stopper on your catch side. Start out with almost the full length, because this will make the ball go further and you will get a feel for the Catchball.

Don't be afraid to throw hard. Make sure to throw downward with a quick flick of the wrist starting from behind your body just like in the clip above. The throw should leave your hand right by your body!

Make sure to wear adequate protection as stated in the instruction manual that came with your Catchball or below.
